For a few months, I had been hearing great things about the Springfield XD .45 and man were they right!
This is a reliable and fun weapon to shoot! It grips so well and almost everyone that I have let try it, just raves about it. Even my girlfriend (Yes, some woman actually succumbed to my endless begging and pleading for a date and then decided to stick around) hit 4 out of 5 bulls eyes with this gun, and it was her very first time at the range!
Aside from the internal safeties, the weapon has two visible safeties, a trigger safety and a palm safety. No switches or buttons to press. Just get the gun ready to fire and you're off to the races!
Its reliability has been excellent. I have about a thousand rounds through mine without a jam or misfire and I even mixed and matched my ammo in a clip just too see. It fed without issue!
Its to big for Concealed Carry but the power of the .45ACP will stop anyone in their tracks.
Its fun to shoot and the recoil is easily manageable, even for the most novice of users (remember my newbie girlfriend from above hitting the target consistently? Now would be a good time to mention that she's also very hot... and I'm not saying this in case she reads this... I have pics, and if you have $9.99 a month to spend, we'll talk...)
I think I spent around $600 for a new one and it was well worth the money! Go pick one up! You deserve it!!!
